Ja’Rell Gaines, professionally known as Rell, is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, recording artist, arranger, and music executive with years of experience in music production and recording. His musical foundation is rooted in Gospel, R&B, Soul, and contemporary music, with an emphasis on live instrumentation, musicality, and emotionally driven production.

As the founder of Jachord Studios, Rell works across multiple areas of the creative process, including production, keyboards and organ, drums, musical arrangement, string arrangement, recording, editing, and mixing. This versatility allows him to approach music not only as an artist, but also as a producer and musician capable of developing music around the needs of a project.

Rell is currently expanding his catalog for sync licensing, film and television, production music, artist collaborations, and other placement opportunities. He is especially interested in creating authentic, high-quality music that combines strong musicianship with memorable emotion and can be adapted to meet the creative direction of a project.
