Johannesburg, South Africa — A minibus taxi driver transporting pupils of various ages collided with a truck in Kwa-Zulu Natal on Tuesday morning.
Netcare 911 responded to the fatal collision. Medical respondents assisted 14 injured students. Meanwhile, emergency personnel declared the taxi driver dead on the scene due to fatal injuries.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst made sure that the patients received proper medical attention. The injured students were immediately taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Furthermore, Herbst added that two students sustained critical injuries and needed Advanced Life Support intervention. While the other 12 suffered moderate to serious injuries.
