Taxi crashes into a Bank of America (Chicago, USA)

Chicago, IL — The Chicago Police Department (CPD) are now searching for a private-car driver after allegedly pushing a taxi into a Bank of America in the Loop.

Furthermore, the incident happened early Sunday morning at around 7:30 a.m. A taxi was traveling southbound on Michigan Avenue when a dark-colored vehicle going the wrong way on Madison St. struck the cab. Chicago Fire Department believe the crash pushed the taxi into the building.

The crash shattered the building’s first-floor windows.

Authorities report that there are no injuries or casualties related to the crash.

Moreover, the driver of the dark-colored vehicle fled the scene, police said. Police officials are now looking for the driver.

Workers are now cleaning up glass from 2 South Michigan Avenue on Sunday.
