Uber driver sexually harassed young passenger

Connecticut, USA — Uber driver Dwaine Miller, 31, was busted for sexually assaulting a minor-aged passenger he was driving home.

According to police, the driver picked up the girl from a party on Stonewall Lane in Fairfield on Saturday.

Mr. Miller, who apparently is a convicted felon, then began making unwanted sexual advances to the girl. He even tried to force the girl onto the front passenger seat.

The victim’s father reported the incident to police who arrested Mr. Miller soon after.

Furthermore, the Uber driver was charged with third-degree sexual assault and posted $5,000 bail. He will be expected to appear before the court this July 26.

In addition, the driver has previous arrests for robbery, assault, and burglary.

“What’s been reported to police is horrible and is something no one should go through,” Uber spokeswoman said. “The driver’s access to the app has been removed. We will fully cooperate with the Fairfield Police Department’s ongoing investigation.”
